Planning a project with several kinds of work
A simple way to organize cleaning, yard work, painting, hauling, and other jobs at the same property.
When a property needs cleaning, yard work, painting, or hauling at the same time, a little planning can make the whole project easier.
Make one complete list
Walk through the property and write down everything you would like done. Include the areas that need attention, your ideal timing, and anything that needs to stay protected.
Take a few useful photos
Wide photos show the size of the space. Close photos show buildup, damage, edges, gates, or other details that could affect the work.
Ask about the best order
Some jobs should happen before others. For example, hauling may need to happen before cleaning, while washing and surface preparation should come before painting or staining.
